Introducing a new natural venue competition series for 2024 – THE MIDDLESBROUGH ANGLING CLUB NWL RESERVOIR MASTERS SERIES will be held over three rounds at Lockwood Beck Reservoir this spring with the winner being decided on points over the three matches.
Round 1 – Sunday 28th April – Lockwood Beck Reservoir
Round 2 – Sunday 19th May – Lockwood Beck Reservoir
Round 3 – Sunday 09th June – Lockwood Beck Reservoir
We are delighted to have the support of Northumbrian Water & Waterside Parks for what we hope will become an annual highlight in the M.A.C. Match Calendar and grow to include rounds on Scaling Dam Reservoir and possibly other NWL Waterside Park coarse fishing venues in the future – raising the profile and showing the potential of the fishing available at these stunning natural venues to pleasure and match anglers alike.
This Inaugural competition will be for M.A.C. members only – Limited to 30 anglers – with the format being 3X 10 man zones on rotation split into 5 man mini sections. the zones will be pegged on the dam wall and the woods on the north and south side of the reservoir. pegs off the match length will be available for club members / Day ticket pleasure anglers.
